We have joined forces with acclaimed British photographer, Rankin, to explore the concept of loyalty in modern relationships. Loyalty and Love is an emotively powerful visual collection of stories featuring 15 couples, each with their own deeply human account of loyalty and love, captured in 15 Marriott Bonvoy hotels across Europe.


From romance to the bonds of friendship and family, our Loyalty and Love stories are united by a common theme of shared experiences and precious time spent together. The subjects are a mixture of associates, members and celebrities, captured in intimate moments to communicate the true reward of Marriott Bonvoy: memories, made together. Our stunning couples include Vicky McClure and fiancé Jonny Owen; Olympic Gold medallists Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh; film critics Mark Kermode and wife Linda Ruth Williams; artist and designer Quentin Jones and husband George Northcott; and fashion influencer twins Hermon and Heroda Berhane.


Our couples happily share the spotlight with the shoot’s other stars – the 15 exquisite Marriott Bonvoy hotels across Europe chosen as our featured locations; each setting individually selected to complement each pair and their story. Showcased brands include W Hotels, Moxy, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Autograph Collection Hotels, Renaissance Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton.


Rankin Photography’s collection captures the unique bond between each couple as they discover new places and rediscover each other. Rankin explains,“Hotels are fascinating places; each guest and room has a different story to tell, forming a treasure trove of memories made together. In Loyalty and Love, we wanted to capture the romance and glamour of staying in a hotel by revealing our couples behind closed doors, suspended in their own private bubble of their hotel room. The result is a collection of images which put the romance back into travel andshow the important role this precious time together can play in a relationship.”


The creative collaboration explores loyalty in its many nuances – a concept close to the heart of Marriott International.
